The Tunisian Space Association (TUNSA) is an organization that aims to promote the use of space technology for economic, social and environmental development of Tunisia, as well as to strengthen the scientific and technological capabilities of the country. TUNSA Junior
In our commitment to nurturing the next generation, we have established a junior part of the association. This division is dedicated to working with children and young adults, sparking their interest and fostering their development in our key focus areas. We believe that by engaging with youngsters, we can inspire a lifelong passion for our cause, and equip them with the knowledge and skills they need to make a positive impact. Our activities for juniors range from educational workshops and fun-filled events to mentorship programs. Head of the Astrophysics Department of the Tunisian Space Society joins NASA 🇹🇳🚀
After graduating from Williams College in Massachusetts in the United States in astrophysics and mathematics, and winning the Milham Prize in Astronomy at the university, the young Tunisian researcher Ashraf Al-Dhahabi succeeded in joining the EMAC research team in the field of extrasolar planets at the Goddard Space Flight Center of the American Space Agency NASA within...
